Clayton Kershaw made his case for the NL Cy Young Award as he beat the Giants 2-1 on Wednesday night for his 20th win of the season. It was Kershaw’s 5th win against the Giants this season and became the first Dodger pitcher since Vic Lombardi in 1946. He is the first 20 game winner for the Dodgers since Ramon Martinez went 20-6 in 1990. Clayton Kershaw increased his strikeout lead to 242 and leads the majors with a 2.27 ERA.
