24/7 Pacquiao vs Marquez, Episode 2 (Video)

This was a great episode. We see Marquez and Pacquiao beating up on their sparring partners. Marquez has changed his training regimen. He no longer drinks his own urine and has hired a strenght and conditioning coach. Marquez looks bigger and faster. We see him take time from his training and helping his son with his math homework. A reminder that fatherhood is also a 24/7 job. I was excited to see Alfredo “Perro” Angulo at the Romanza gym. Both Marquez and Pacquiao tried to do their Mayweather impersonation by showing off their love for cars. It was cool to see Nacho Beristain’s ’65 classic mustang and him coaching one of his pupils. All in all a great episode.

I can’t wait for next week as it appears that they will be putting some focus on Perro Angulo as he prepares for his upcoming fight against James Kirkland on November 5th. I can’t wait for next Saturday; Kirkland vs Angulo is going to be an explosive fight.

Enjoy episode 2.

I think Marquez is going to surprise people. He looks like he’s going to have better quickness than he had for the Mayweather fight and he’s going to handle his extra weight better…loved that footage they showed of him knocking the snot out of his younger sparring partner (and also thought it was funny/ironic that they used "Kids" by Sleigh Bells while this was all going down haha – you can watch this at http://vimeo.com/31699074)Last, I just have to say I’m happy for Marquez that he doesn’t have to drink his own urine anymore…I know boxers are always looking for any physical edge, but come on! That was crazy.

Thank you for your comment. I agree with you. Marquez looks bigger and faster. I think Marquez style fits to his advantage against Pacquiao. Boxing is Chess with gloves. I think Marquez ring intelligence will also play a factor in this fight. He is one of most intelligent boxers out there and this will definitely play a huge role…People talk about Manny’s right hand but they don’t talk about the different combination’s that Marquez can use…I am also glad that Marquez doesn’t have to drink his own urine anymore. I’m glad he hired a strength and conditioning coach because it looks like Marquez is going to put a performance come November 12th. I can’t wait for next Saturday. It is going to be a great fight.
