This past Saturday, Saul Canelo Alvarez fought Shane Mosley on the undercard of the Floyd Mayweather vs Miguel Cotto fight. Canelo Alvarez is a young Mexican who is the current 154 pound WBC Champion. Canelo defended his 154lb WBC belt by over powering Shane Mosley and cruising to a unanimous decision. He also made a name for himself outside the boxing community. Canelo Alvarez became a huge topic in the social media last weekend when people started seeing similar resemblance to Clippers’ Star, Blake Griffin.
