Dodgers Acquire Hanley Ramirez from the Miami Marlins; goes 2-4 with a Triple in his Dodgers debut

The Los Angeles Dodgers have done it again. 4 years after receiving Manny Ramirez from the Boston Red Sox, the Dodgers traded Nathan Eovaldi and a minor league pitcher for Hanley Ramirez and left handed relief pitcher, Randy Choate.
The Dodgers will take on the rest of Ramirez contract but having a solid hitter in his prime is a huge boost to the Dodgers offensive lineup. It is a great day to be a Dodger! I have a feeling this is just the beginning of some great acquisitions. Hopefully, we can get Ryan Dempster and Justin Morneau. If we can’t get any of these two players, I will be happy if the Dodgers end up getting Matt Garza from the Cubs or Greinke from the Brewers.

Here are the highlights of tonight’s game. Even though Dodgers lost, Hanley had some great at bats.
