Mexico was looking to defend its cup against a great Chilean team. The beautiful thing about Homeless World Cup is that at the end of the day, everyone is a winner.
For a lot of these women, who come from difficult life situations just to be representing their country in another country, is amazing.
Homeless World Cup is a movement that has used Sports, in this case, Soccer, to be a vehicle for social change. Soccer is a language that everyone understands and that is why its beautiful to see these games being played.

I lived for two years in Chile so I hold a special space in my heart to this amazing country who made me fall in love with Salvador Allende, Violeta Parra, Gabriela Mistral, Pablo Neruda and Victor Jara.
