On Sunday, March 6th, Af3rm and several organizations organized the largest international women’s day march in the nation. Here are some of the pics I was able to capture on one of the most powerful and beautiful marches I have participated.
Inmates waving to us as we serenate them with Los Caminos de la Vida. I cried during this part. I uploaded the video on YouTube to show how powerful this was.
Inmates waving to us. This was a very emotional and powerful part of the March.
I took video of the March going underneath the bridge. Video on YouTube. It was powerful to hear people chanting, “whose streets? Our streets!”
There is video footage I uploaded to YouTube that shows people arriving and shutting down the bridge.
